Get creative with a winter hat Dot Dot sheet and be sure to talk about the great vocabulary words in the “Winter Counting” sheet. Explore our fun January themes below!
First, have fun with two preschool tracing worksheets. The “Mitten Match” is great for identifying the same patterns. Cut out the mittens from the bottom of the page and use a glue stick to match each one to its same partner. “Winter Counting” is great for vocabulary and learning numbers. Talk about what each object is called, then use scissors to cut out the objects from page 2 and glue them into the matching column on page 1. Remember to count along the way!
Next, use Dot Dot markers with the “My Winter Hat!” activity sheet. To mix things up, you can always try Q-tip painting. Pick out your favorite color of paint, then use one end of a Q-tip to dip into the paint. Place one dot in the middle of each circle.
Finally, use a marker or crayon to trace a beautiful snowflake and trace snowballs to the snowman. These sheets are great for building pre-writing skills.
