Before we start… What’s a yeti?
A yeti is a make-believe creature that people say lives high up in the snowy mountains. Some call it the ‘Abominable Snowman.’ The yeti is big, furry, and looks a little like a giant snow monster! Even though we don’t know if it’s real, it’s a fun character to imagine and create in crafts and drawings.
Cute Yeti Craft for Kids
Materials Needed: paper plate, scissors, glue, free cutouts, markers, watercolors, cardstock paper
Step 1: First, gather your yeti craft supplies. Next, print your free cutouts onto cardstock paper. Once you’ve got everything ready, use watercolors to fill in your paper plate blue.
Step 2: Next, use marker or crayons to color in your yeti cutouts. Then, use scissors to cut out your pieces.
Step 3: Use a glue stick to paste your yeti cutouts to the paper plate. I added some pink Dot Dot cheeks to my yeti and a touch of glitter.
Your Yeti is Ready!
Dont’ forget to give your yeti and exciting name! Be sure to hang your creature somewhere that needs a bit of magical winter cheer!
