Color Mixing with Ice Cubes is an awesome way to learn about what happens when two colors mix. Use food coloring to freeze your ice cubes to your desired color. Once frozen, place 2 different colors of your ice-cubes into a small bowl. Wait for them to melt, or use a hairdryer to see what color emerges!

Check out an awesome Ocean Art Project! I love this art project because it allows your little ones to paint with pom poms or a sponge. This activity also lets your little ones see that there are many different kinds of blue such as light blue vs. dark blue. When mixed together your creation will look just like the deep blue sea!
