Cute Bear Craft for Kids! (with free cutouts)

Check out this Cute Bear Craft for Kids! (with free cutouts) Create your own bear when learning about the letter B, or when reading a book about bears! Print out your colored bear cutouts, or black & white cutouts, so the pieces can be colored in with markers and crayons! Don’t forget to give your bear a name! Remember to talk about bears when completing the craft. What do bears sound like? What do they eat? Are bears big or small? Take a look!

Materials Needed:

a plastic fork/paper plate

scissors/glue stick

brown paint

free printable bear pieces (print below!)

Bear Craft for Kids!

Step 1: Gather your materials! Fill in your paper plate with brown paint. Remember, there are tons of ways to paint! You can sponge paint, use watercolors, fork paint, or use crayons and markers. I decided to fork paint! This is a great method to introduce your little ones to texture. Do the dried fork marks look or feel like the fur on the bear?

Step 2: While you paper plate is drying, use scissors to cut out your bear pieces. You can print out colored pieces, or black & white so they can be colored in with your favorite colors! Remember to print out the pieces on cardstock paper for the best results.

Step 3: Use a glue stick to paste your bear pieces onto the paper plate! Be sure to give your bear a name! Hang him somewhere that needs a bit of beary cheer!
