Step 1: Gather your materials! Fill in your paper plate with brown paint. Remember, there are tons of ways to paint! You can sponge paint, use watercolors, fork paint, or use crayons and markers. I decided to fork paint! This is a great method to introduce your little ones to texture. Do the dried fork marks look or feel like the fur on the bear?
Step 2: While you paper plate is drying, use scissors to cut out your bear pieces. You can print out colored pieces, or black & white so they can be colored in with your favorite colors! Remember to print out the pieces on cardstock paper for the best results.
Step 3: Use a glue stick to paste your bear pieces onto the paper plate! Be sure to give your bear a name! Hang him somewhere that needs a bit of beary cheer!
