Fun Groundhog Day Craft for Pre-K!
Materials Needed: 6 in paper plate, brown paint, sponge, glue stick, scissors, free cutouts
Step 1: Print your free groundhog cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, color in your paper plate. I decided to sponge paint! You can also use markers, Dot Dot’s, or watercolors. Usually, I use a 9 inch paper plate for my crafts, but I did this craft with a small 6 inch one.

Step 2: Use your scissors to cut out the groundhog cutouts. Use markers or crayons to color them in!

Step 3: Next, use your glue stick to paste your cutouts to the paper plate. I decided to add a touch of glitter for extra fun!

Happy Groundhog Day!
Your groundhog is finished! Be sure to hang your groundhog somewhere that needs a bit of extra cheer! You can even write on the back of your paper plate whether or not you think the groundhog will see his shadow. Don’t forget to print your Free Groundhog Day Worksheets for more groundhog fun!
