Shake Those Bones! Skeleton Movement Game
After making your skeleton craft, it’s time to get up and shake those bones! Put on your favorite kid-friendly Halloween songs and invite little learners to dance along. This simple movement activity helps preschoolers practice body awareness, listening skills, coordination, and gross motor skills! For an extra challenge, pause the music and yell “Freeze those bones!” Everyone has to freeze like a silly skeleton until the music starts again.
As the music plays, call out different bones and body parts for your little ones to move:
- Shake your hands!
- Wiggle your fingers!
- Stomp your feet!
- Bend your knees!
- Roll your shoulders!
- Shake your whole skeleton!
