    The Best Mummy Craft for Preschool!

    Materials Needed: cardstock paper, paper plate, scissors, glue stick, markers, gauze, free mummy cutouts

    Step 1: Print your free mummy cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, use your scissors to cut out the pieces. Print your Ghost Coloring Pages and Halloween Worksheets to keep the spooky fun going!

    Step 2: Use markers or crayons to color in your mummy cutouts. I gave my mummy orange eyes! Color in a spider and a piece of candy, use whichever pieces you like the best to embellish your mummy! I chose the spider.

    Step 3: Cut your gauze into strips and paste them over your mummy’s eyes. I love this craft because it has your little ones learning about a new medium. Talk about what gauze are traditionally used for!

    I can’t believe it, but I actually found three preschool books that are all about mummies! Read Where’s My Mummy, There Was an Old Mummy Who Swallowed a Spider, and The Runaway Mummy. Each book has gotten great reviews and people have said that the spookiness factor is perfectly gentle for ages 4 and 5.

    DIY Mummy Trick-or Treat Goodies

    Last year, I made these fun mummy trick-or-treat goodies for my nieces and nephew. Grab a toilet paper roll and fill it with candy or Halloween goodies, cover the roll with gauze, and add a couple eyes! I made a pull cord for fun, but you can keep it as simple as you like!
