Apple Activities for Pre-K
Keep the apple theme going with some fun activities that will build fine motor skills and engage your little ones in new experiences.
I LOVE making apple patterns from Teach Preschool. This is a great way to introduce your little ones to simple patterns with green and red apples. Draw a simple pattern with green and yellow circles on a sheet of long, white paper. Have your little ones place the same color apple onto each circle.
Next, have fun making an Apple Craft! Print your free apple template and use contact paper to fill the center of the apple. Have your little ones use tissue paper squares to make their apples colorful. Place your finished apple suncatcher in the window and see it brighten up the room!
Finally, check out bobbing for apples from Fantastic Fun and Learning. Place several apples into a large bowl of water. Have your little ones use tongs to pick apples out of the water. This is a great way to build color recognition as well. Don’t forget to eat an apple after the activity!
