Let’s Play: Lion Says!
Once everyone has finished making their lion craft, it’s time to get moving with a fun game of Lion Says! Ask preschoolers to pretend they’re playful lions as you call out different actions:
- Lion says, roar as loud as you can!
- Lion says, stomp through the jungle!
- Lion says, stretch up tall like a lion waking up!
- Lion says, swish your tail from side to side!
- Lion says, creep quietly through the tall grass!
- Lion says, curl up for a cat nap!
Don’t forget—if you give a command without saying “Lion says,” little lions should stay perfectly still! The last preschooler still listening carefully wins a round, or simply keep playing together for lots of giggles.
