Koala Craft for Kids!
Materials Needed: scissors, glue stick, gray paint, markers, paper plate
Step 1: First gather your craft supplies! Print your free koala cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, use scissors to cut out your koala cutouts.

Step 2: Next, use marker or crayons to color in your koala cutouts. Then, color your paper plate gray. I decided to sponge paint my plate, but remember, you can use markers, crayons, or watercolors too.

Step 3: Use a glue stick to paste your cutouts onto the paper plate.

Step 4: Add any finishing touches you like to your koala! I decided to add a touch of glitter. Be sure to hang your koala somewhere that needs a bit of animal cheer!

Koala Facts for Kids!
🐨 Koalas live in trees! They spend most of their time up high in eucalyptus trees.
🌿 They love to eat leaves. Koalas munch on yummy eucalyptus leaves all day long.
😴 Koalas sleep a lot. They can nap for up to 18 hours every day!
👶 Baby koalas are called joeys. A joey rides in its mother’s pouch until it’s big enough to climb.
💕 Koalas aren’t bears. Even though people call them “koala bears,” they’re really marsupials—animals with pouches!
