Black Cat Craft for Preschool!
Materials Needed: paper plate, black paint, sponge, markers, scissors, glue, free cat cutouts
Step 1: Print your free cat cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, color your paper plate black. I decided to have fun sponge painting. You can also use markers, crayons, watercolors, or tissue paper squares. Print Halloween Cutting Practice Sheets to build scissor skills!
Step 2: Once your paper plate is covered black, set it to the side to dry. Grab your markers or crayons and color in your cat cutouts! I decided to give my cat green eyes. Print your Halloween Worksheets for even more spooky fun!
Step 3: Next, cut out your cat craft pieces. Then, use your glue stick to paste the pieces to the black paper plate. Remember, crafting is great for practicing scissor skills and for building the small muscles in the fingers and hands.
Halloween Craft for Kids
Your cat craft is finished! I decided to add some glitter for finishing touches! You can always add pipe cleaner whiskers to add another element to the craft. Be sure to hang your black cat somewhere that needs a bit of Halloween spookiness! Keep your eyes peeled for any black cats on the street!
