Inside the letter U contains four shapes: circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. Have your little ones cut out the shapes on page two and match each picture to its same shape. The U is for Umbrella Craft for Preschool

Materials Needed: cardstock paper, crayons and markers, Dot dot markers, scissors, glue

The U is for Umbrella Craft is a great way to celebrate the letter U! Print your umbrella cutouts onto cardstock paper. Use markers and crayons to fill in your umbrella. I used Dot Dot markers on the background to depict rain drops. Next, cut out your umbrella top and fold over the flaps. Use a glue stick or tape to stick it to the umbrella handle background.

Letter U Activities for Pre-K

Use a Dot Dot marker to dot your letter U. Engage with a touch of social emotional learning by talking about the word, “unique”. In what ways are you unique? How can we celebrate the uniqueness of each person in our family or class? Another way to use this sheet is to have your little ones place one fruit loop onto each gray dot. Laminate your printable to keep it long lasting!
