The Letter R Craft for Preschool
This Letter R Craft for Preschool is chocked full of learning and fun! Print your activity onto cardstock paper. The background of the letter R template has robots! Use markers and crayons to color in the images on page 2. Color in the rocket ships, rainbow, rain, ring, and robot. I used neon crayons for this activity!


Inside the letter R contains five shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, and oval. Have your little ones cut out the shapes on page two and match each picture to its same shape. Using scissors is a great way to build fine motor skills. Matching shapes is a great way to learn shape names and shape recognition. What else do you see in the room that begins with the letter R?


The R is for Raccoon Craft!
Materials Needed: paper plate, gray tissue paper, cardstock paper, scissors, glue, pink crayon
First, print your raccoon craft cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, cut your paper plate in half. Use a glue stick to paste your tissue paper square onto the paper plate. Cut out your raccoon cutouts and color in his pink ears! Finally, glue the pieces to your paper plate. Be sure to hang your paper plate raccoon somewhere that needs a bit of cheer!
