The Letter B Craft for Preschool
This Letter B Craft for Preschool is chocked full of learning and fun! Print your activity onto cardstock paper. The background of the letter B template has butterflies, bananas, broccoli, bears, and bikes. Take a moment to name each picture you see in the background before you begin the activity. Use markers and crayons to color in the images on page 2. Color in the bumble bee, bird, balloons, ballerina, and boat!


Inside the letter B contains five shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, and oval. Have your little ones cut out the shapes on page two and match each picture to its same shape. Using scissors is a great way to build fine motor skills. Matching shapes is a great way to learn shape names and shape recognition. What else do you see in the room that begins with the letter B?


B is for Boat Craft
Materials Needed: cardstock paper, crayons, scissors, glue
The B is for Boat Craft is going to be a huge hit with your little ones! Print your boat craft templates onto cardstock paper. Use scissors to cutout the boat and sails. Next, use markers and crayons to color in the cutouts. Once you’ve finished, fold the circle in half on the gray line, this will make your ship stand up straight! Glue the sails to the straight side of the half moon shape. Stand your boat upright and see how it rocks!

Letter B Activities for Pre-K
Use a Dot Dot marker to dot your letter B. Engage with a touch of social emotional learning by talking about the word, “brave”. What does it feel like to be brave? In what ways can you be brave for yourself and others? Another way to use this sheet is to have your little ones place one fruit loop onto each gray dot.
