The Prayer Hand
The Prayer Hand is a great way to introduce your little ones to praying with God. Each finger on the hand represents something different. I made this printable specifically for preschool, so I have made it as simple as possible. Starting with the thumb, we give praise, ask for forgiveness, express thankfulness, pray for someone else, then pray for ourselves. Color in your Prayer Hand and hang it next to your bed!
The Lord’s Prayer Printables
Prayer is simply talking to God. Our little ones don’t need fancy words, they just need to know that God loves them and wants to hear from them!
Start by showing your little ones that they can talk to God anytime, when they’re happy, sad, thankful, or needing help. Teach them that prayer can be short and simple, like saying, “Thank you, God, for my family,” or “Please help my friend feel better.”
Most of all—remind them: God is always listening, and He loves to hear our voices!
