The Letter K Craft for Preschool
This Letter K Craft for Preschool is chocked full of learning and fun! Print your activity onto cardstock paper. The background of the letter K template has keys, kitties, kiwis, kennels, and koalas. Take a moment to name each picture you see in the background before you begin the activity. Use markers and crayons to color in the images on page 2. Color in the king, kites, kangaroo, and kettle!


Inside the letter K contains four shapes: circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. Have your little ones cut out the shapes on page two and match each picture to its same shape. Using scissors is a great way to build fine motor skills. Matching shapes is a great way to learn shape names and shape recognition. What else do you see in the room that begins with the letter K?


The K is for Kite Craft
Materials Needed: cardstock paper, markers, crayons, streamers, scissors, glue
First, print out your kite cutouts onto cardstock paper. Next, use markers, crayons, Dot Dot markers, stickers, etc., to color in your kite! Use scissors to cut out your streamers and bow. Then, use glue to attach your streamers to the back of the kite and your bow to the front of the kite.
Be sure to hang your kite craft somewhere that needs a bit of cheer! Hold up your kite outside and watch the streamers blow in the wind!




Letter K Activities for Pre-K
Use a Dot Dot marker to dot your letter K. Engage with a touch of social emotional learning by talking about the word, “artistic”. What does it feel like to be artistic?
