Help little ones learn one of the Bible’s most beloved verses with this The Lord Is My Shepherd Craft for Preschool! Inspired by Psalm 23, this easy printable Bible craft introduces preschoolers to the comforting message that God loves, guides, and cares for His children like a shepherd cares for his sheep. Check out all of our Bible Crafts to get creative each and every Sunday morning.

Teaching Preschoolers About Jesus, the Good Shepherd
Psalm 23 reminds us that God cares for us the same way a shepherd cares for his sheep. A good shepherd watches over his flock, keeps them safe, helps them find food and water, and stays with them when they are afraid. Jesus showed these same loving qualities throughout His life. He cared for people, helped those in need, welcomed little children, and taught others about God’s love.
When talking with preschoolers, explain that Jesus is our Good Shepherd. Just as sheep trust their shepherd to lead them, we can trust Jesus to guide us, help us make good choices, and be with us wherever we go. Even when we feel scared, lonely, or unsure, Jesus loves us and never leaves us. Psalm 23 is a beautiful reminder that we are always cared for by our Good Shepherd.
